ISOA is a project celebrating and explaining the role of the Bauhaus movement, especially examining the school of art.
With parallel design principles, we have used IKEA as an example to explain how the different elements of Bauhaus would have operated. By doing this, we are able to communicate how Bauhaus operated to an audience that it unfamiliar with an art school.
In the format of a prospectus, ISOA explains the different elements of the Bauhaus institute, converting this into an IKEA branded setting these include diet, accommodation and even examples of work fromthe Bauhaus institute.
Examples of this include having a Swedish Meatball based diet as well as having a one way system around the workshops in ISOA. Both of these are inspired by key recognisable elements from IKEA.
