A commonplace book is a book containing extracts to be remembered. Sometimes never to be seen again, a Tinderbook contains all of the worst Tinder biographies and stories of the worst dates, reminding you why you swiped left.
With the Tinderbook, I thought about how different elements of the book could relate back to Tinder itself. The book isn't bound, meaning that the pages are navigated by swiping, mimicking the action on the infamous app. As the app itself is all about first impressions, the spreads of the Tinder Bios are all relevant to the impression the statement gives; for example, if a person comes across as cocky, the text is set large and centred or if they are shy, the text is small and set in the corners of the page.
